The Club

The old wooden hut
Founded in 1874.  The ground is situated on Barnsley Road in Wakefield.
The new clubhouse was completed in advance of the 2007 season, replacing the old wooden hut that had given many years of service but which lacked the modern facilities that are now expected. The new building includes more spacious changing facilities with showers, a seperate umpires' room, a fully-licensed bar, lounge and tea room and now a new dedicated scorers' box. The new clubhouse facilities are available for hire for business meetings, parties and other functions.

Senior Cricket
Sandal Cricket Club have been members of the Pontefract & District Cricket League since 1990.
The 1st XI play in Division 3 and the 2nd XI play in Division 6.
